I feel like I've neglected updating our blog. It's been a whirlwind of a year. I feel that at the end of the year I need to do a recap just for my sanity. November was a very busy month.
Adam and I went before the Board of County Commissioners and we were able to have the code enforcement fines ($70,000 worth) dropped. The fines racked up because of the owner before us of the rental property, so that was a big relief to have that off of our shoulders.
I went to New Orleans with 10 girls for Cassie's Bachelorette Party. It was a great time with amazing food and fun! The next weekend, Adam and I attended the Blue Angel's homecoming show at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. As a native, I've never been to this show and we had VIP front row viewing. I felt like a little kid the whole time because the performance was spectacular.
November 19 was my best friend's wedding. I can't even put into words how beautiful she was. I was teary eyed as she walked down the aisle to Train's "Marry Me". The reception was held at the Pensacola Museum of Commerce and we danced the night away. The groom's cake was perfect with it being a replica of their orange VW bus.
I hosted Thanksgiving at my house for the family. Adam wasn't in town for Thanksgiving, but he will be in town for Christmas.
Things have finally started to settle down a bit and now we are gearing up for the holidays and holidays gatherings.
