It's a Feisty Kind of Friday.

Well it's a Fiesty kind of Friday since I'm off work. The hubs left town on Tuesday and I told him that I was going to "pull a Cassie" like my best friend and just start changing things in the house. Well....it works out so much better for her than me. I did make a trip to Lowe's and picked out some paint colors for our kitchen. We found this neat app by Behr Paint, Color Smart and decided this is how we wanted our kitchen to look. So I set off to hunt for paint colors.

Here is what I came back with these. I finally have narrowed it down to three. The second one down and the third row from the top.

I also made several trips to World Market and Target trying to find cushions that fit our outdoor chairs and bench that has some sort of theme. Maybe one day we'll actually have a useable back porch; we're remodeling and it's the last priority. (I lost 1/2 of my post so I'm updating it.)

I originally fell in love with this 6' x 9' Kiwi Bali Lotus Rio Mat from World Market and saw the Kiwi Green Solid Bench Pad to match the bright colors. These would brighten the covered back porch and make us want to use it and enjoy being out there. Well the chair pad's didn't fit the wooden chairs we have out there now and I couldn't find any color similar or to match, so I had to return them. I did however buy the Red Solid Bench Pad to match the rug that is out there now. I think I might invest in the Red Lotus Blossom Lumbar Pillows to enhance the colors.

Other than that I need an interior designer in my life...pronto!
