He Asked For It...

So my husband told me that I just need to make a wish list of things I want because I kept talking about different things when he came home. I'm such a list person so this would seem accurate for him to ask for a list.

I'm normally not a huge jewelry person, but after looking at my complied list, maybe I should be. Or it's the fact that I have nothing and I need to add to my collection.

I'm loving yellow gold jewelry right now.
Michael Kors watch at Macy's

These pieces just stuck out to me from Stella and Dot. I can't choose between the two, so I want both!

I tried these on the other day and they are gorgeous!
Tory Burch Sunglasses

My cousin has had this ring for quite sometime and it's so beautiful as a middle finger ring.

Another Nashville scene.

I love being passionate about something.

Things you should know about me if we are going to be best friends.

I "borrowed" this idea from A Complete Waste of Makeup Blog.
Neely asked at the bottom of her post, what should you know about me if we are going to be best friends. I honestly think you should ask my friends instead of me, but I'll give it a try. I find new things out about myself everyday. My husband's best friend told me he could write a book of Whitneyisims. Now, I'm just trying to figure out what those are!

I'm a starchaholic. Bring me mashed potatoes over sweets any day.
I cannot stand mushrooms, onions, or red/green/yellow peppers.

I'm not a huge fan of kids...sorry. I can't help it.

I'm a wannabe Nashvillian and will take any chance I can get to go visit.

I want to travel for a living.

I love any festival and I am becoming more in love with music festivals.

I'm a workaholic.

I'm not spontaneous, but I try to be. I'm a planner.

I hate being late to anything. I was taught if you are early you are on time, if you are one time you are late and if you are late you are left behind.

I have to put everything in my phone's calendar, it's how I plan my life.

I have a huge hanger (hungry anger) problem. Feed me and I'm much happier.

Wine is my friend.

My best friend needs to be able to tell me the music I like. Now, I know my country music, but while listening to cover bands, you'll have to be there to look at me in the first couple of cords and say, "You know this song."

I feel lost without my iphone. Almost panicked.

I will always have a "pill emergency" case on me: Allegra, Motrin, MaxAlt (migraine meds) and Xanax.

I hate cold weather. Becoming a hermit in the winter has not been unheard of.

I don't laugh at jokes on TV. I don't understand the humor of Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, Superbad, Get Him to the Greek...okay anything with Jonah Hill in it.

I like my quiet time where no one talks to me.

My hearing is impeccable.

I'm horrible at remembering anniversaries and birthdays. Don't be mad if I don't know when your birthday is.

I don't really hold back anything. If I'm thinking it, I'm pretty much saying it. What you see is what you get.

Friends, did I forget anything?

What should I know about you if we're going to be best friends?

Bonfire Jam - May 12.

Bonfire Jam on Pensacola Beach was just this past weekend. I had the honor to work with some amazing people before and during the Saturday event. This team knows how to put on an event. Unfortunately, the weather was completely against us with tornadoes in the area and wind gusts too dangerous for sponsor banners or the LED screen. The behind the scenes team did everything they could to keep the concert going without putting artists, crew and attendees in danger. Sunny Sweeney, Brett Eldredge, Josh Thompson and Craig Morgan made it to the stage to perform. Headliner Ronnie Dunn was cut at the last minute when the show was called due to dangerous weather. It was a hard decision to call the show but a smart move event and safety wise.

Throughout the day I was in my ultimate comfort zone....behind the scenes with a production pass working Meet and Greets. We had a day full of scheduled interviews and 50 to 80 fan Meet and Greets. Working behind the scenes on festival day is a full adrenaline rush and I wouldn't trade it for anything as I get to work with some of my closest friends and family.

Highlights of my day included Brett Eldredge giving me a spontaneous high five while walking by, Josh Thompson's super happy road manager Ashley, going into the crowd and giving out spontaneous Meet & Greet passes, telling Brett Eldredge that the Sand Shaker invented the Bushwacker, and giving a military member access to Craig Morgan, Josh Thompson and Ronnie Dunn to thank them for their support of the US military.

Next time there is an event, festival, or concert...put a pass around my neck, radio in my hand and give me  something to do. I'm there!
